The problem lies in that most women are only attracted to a select number of men. They're far more choosy than guys are on average.
I historically dated attractive women when I was single, but when I was in a rut, I'd find something "doable" to take my frustrations out on. My long time FWB/booty-call was a bigger lady. While I wasn't super attracted to her and she didn't share my lifestyle or interests, we had great bedroom chemistry. Like a lot of guys, my man-parts aren't picky.
Most women won't engage in such behavior. A woman having meaningless bang-bang with a guy she's not attracted to isn't the norm. Because of this, a woman is far less likely to approach a man. A woman typically has to see you as relationship material or be attracted to you to make a move.
+1. all men want the dime piece but we are content with low-maintenance average/less-than-average (especially if its just a jump off).
the average looking woman would likely only cold approach a good looking guy; i doubt they would holla' at your average looking cat (except maybe if they get the vibe he is looking to wife her).

Reason: revised to add low-maintenance
Why do the women here keep bringing up what men did since the beginning, what does that have to do with today?
YOU are the one who brought it up, I'm just commenting on you doing so.

1000 years ago? No, I don't think many women are trying to continue the tradition of marrying who their Dad told them to and being considered property.
Exactly. What "woman," if you can call a 13-year-old that, had to pull any tricks at all in order to be unwillingly sold by her family to some 45-year-old dude and be legally raped by him nightly until she produced an heir?
I can't see a lot of "women" coyly attempting to attract this situation yet stubbornly remaining unwilling to come right out with an approach.
a good deal of women have said here that they do initiate... and a good deal of men on here said they'd never go out with a woman who initiated. So who's really stuck in the dark ages here?
You know both are the exception not the rule and I don't know how many times on here where a women approached one guy who didn't like it or turned her down so they resort to its men's job to approach. At least men give it multiple tries, oh because oh because of the former men don't have a choice.
What on earth? YOU'RE the one who specifically said (erroneously, but whatever) women are doing what they did 1000 years ago.
Am I missing something here? This is kind of odd.
I was thinking maybe Done38 is a woman and talking to herself?
