My name is generic as heck, about on the order of "John Smith" so every time I google my name I get about a million people that aren't me that come up. Basically Google is useless in that respect, for me anyways.
Got busted in Florida when he moved there, opened his business and ' forgot ' to register as a sex offender.
Lost everything.
Guy I knew happened to find this out and when I ran into him he mentioned " By the way...google search - and the state of Florida " and see what you get. I had no idea what he was talking about so just took a look. His mug shot was in a number of places.
Even his wife and daughter had no idea he had been found guilty and served time for the crime.
I've found out some weird things when googling people I know, but as far as love interests go? Nothing strange while googling. One girl I found she had been arrested for assault. It was earlier in the year of when we were seeing each other. I didn't judge her on it, cause it could have been anything and maybe no big deal. She later told me that she had been arrested for getting into a fight with some girl at a bar haha. I think the charges wound up being dropped. I didn't tell her I already knew about it via a search though.

I've googled for a casual friend that I hadn't seen in a long time (had moved to a different area, etc.) only to find their obituary that way.
Yep, me too. A couple of people who were old friends. Very sad!
