i don't know generally sex isnt a harm to it i was told...and i had a lot of sex when my eggo went preggo.

It's been 8 months for me. I prefer committed relationship sex so no matter how horny I get and how attracted I am to a guy and vice versa it's not going to happen. I'm at a point in my life where casual sex does nothing for me.

I took a year off from men entirely. It was great--I traveled, made friends, developed my hobbies, had season tickets to my favorite team (which is kind of a big deal when it's hockey because usually there are at least two home games a week, so it's time-intensive).

My only advice is this: Whatever you do, don't marry the first person you date afterward. Trust me.

I've been celibate for 19 years and counting. And yes, it's by choice.

The thought of me being celibate makes me chuckle... never going to happen by choice, that's for sure. I like sex too much for that.

I was also celibate for the first 18 years of my life and so was everybody, give or take a few years.

Back in my single days, I made a decision to be celebate and ended up sticking with it for two years. I did a lot of self discovery (and no, not THAT kind of discovery). But just meeting men and knowing it wasn't going in that direction made for an interesting time, let's just say that.
