You actually sound like a great catch. I bet a lot of men would love to date a woman your age without young kids that is attractive, likes to cook and was a loyal loving wife. No one will care that you can't sew.
Pro: I'm well-read, funny, creative, hard-working, successful, described as attractive, know how to dress for the occasion, can play two musical instruments, and am generally considered an asset at dinner parties. I remember birthdays, anniversaries, and Valentines Day. When asked to dance, I don't look as if I have a chronic muscular disease. I am a good and empathetic listener, a self-starter, and don't spend more than I make. I spend time helping others through a couple of charities and have a gaze once described as so intense it could drive nails. I am equally comfortable at a rock concert or a symphony concert. I can guzzle a beer, ably use a chainsaw, and know what wine to order with the fish. On those few times I go, I kill it on Trivia Night. I don't disappear to the golf course, the bass boat, or the tree stand for hours on end every weekend. I have a novel with an interested agent and a documentary that -- fingers crossed -- should be getting funding in a couple of weeks. I try to be considerate, have good manners, clean up after myself, and show up on time. I'm a person of faith, but not a Bible beater. And I don't spend every night staring a hole into a television or a video game console.
Con: I am a terrible procrastinator, can get so involved in something that I lose track of time, and have low tolerance for fools and nitwits. My voice sounds like the Martian on the Bugs Bunny cartoons. While a stickler for etiquette and ethical behavior, I typically find that many rules exist for no good reason at all and should be cheerfully ignored. And my wife might have a problem with your dating me. She's kind of picky that way.
Pros: A lot. (these traits, characteristics, quirks, idiosyncrasies, etc., are definite pros for certain types, negatives for others)
Cons: I'm a procrastinator. I've been told I'm too analytical and logical at times, or "I can't win these debates with you." Haha. I know. I regard these as positive traits.
Pros: Sun Sign Aries. Venus in compassionate Pisces. Mars in Virgo.
Cons: Moon in Capricorn in the 8th house! Moody and vengeful as all get out!
