Don't lie. Just say what you said here - the two of you struggled with timing of schedules, and you want to see her again so can you try to see what lines up for you both.

Lying will not improve your odds. She will either accept or decline. If you make it a habit to get to know people based on lies they will eventually catch up with you and unravel everything you thought you were building with someone.

As a woman, if I had a general attraction to you I would definitely say yes to this. If there is not any there, then it's kind of a moot point and it didn't hurt anyone.
