I am curious why his co workers told him that? So that means he just got divorced or something?

About the posters who thinks all guys just shag anyone, honestly that was what has been my assumption too. In fact one of my husband's friend is LITERALLY that. That's why I call him 'the douche'.

But my husband is really not like that though. And he is EXACTLY what am looking for. He has no game. He actually is socially awkward with women only though. I hit the jackpot on that one.

But yeah OP, hopefully this guy is the same.

To me IT sounds like you got to invested in this and he sensed your giving off that relationship fantasy vibe. Men sense that and ran for hills after that. Probably why sex wasn't involved. You sound way to into him after 2 dates. No matter how amazing.

I guess he had gotten out of a relationship, not recently, but I think it was a big one and it more then likely really broke his heart. It seems as though his tune really changed in between the 1st and 2nd date, though he is super flirty and sweet still.
