Do you guys think that because of online dating, Tinder, Bumble,...people approach each other way less now? (women, single)

I believe back in the old days, people would talk to each other while waiting by the bus but that will almost never happen today.

No. There are plenty of people that don't use online dating(myself)

And people do both....approach and use online dating(several friends)

I have no issue doing both, though, I've had my best successes with online dating.

The main problem for me IRL has always been that I never seem to run into any single women I'm interested in, and they being interested in me. Or, the timing is off.

That's the main reason why I probably seem to do better with OLD.

OLD favors women because of the numbers. I like a level playing field IrL. Use apps to supplement and broaden the home field��.

I met far, far, far more "available" people doing online dating in just a few weeks, that it would have taken me several years to meet just going out on my own.

All my friends who said online dating was for losers, are still single and some of them are in their 50s now.

True that.

Random approaching is a no-go for me. It just would be a pointless, fruitless endeavor that yields little or no results. This was never a method I cared for, and dates never resulted from being approached by a random person that is highly unlikely to be compatible.

I think the internet plays a part in the decline of personal interaction. There are plenty of other issues that people are faced with. We have been played against each other in this oh so horrible world.
