I matched up with this guy on Tinder. Our conversation was really engaging on both ends. He asked me to get coffee on Monday, but I already had plans. I suggested grabbing a drink the next day after 7:30, and he said that should work. I was on the go most of the day (hadn't heard from him either to confirm plans) and honestly didn't feel like grabbing a drink that night, so I told him I got tied up at work and asked if we could grab coffee the next day. We chatted a bit more before we called it a night, I told him to let me know about coffee. The next morning, he messaged me asking about meeting around 11am and I agreed.
I thought coffee went well. The conversation was good. We stayed for about an hour, then he had to hurry back to work for a call. We stood outside for a second and was a little flirty, then hugged and said bye.
Later that evening, I sent him a message saying I enjoyed getting together and hoped he had a great day. He replied that he did as well and we chatted more. Eventually we called it a night.
Here's the problem - he didn't ask for my number. I also haven't heard from him since. To his defense (maybe, haha), he's an investment banker and I've heard that they are workaholics. He mentioned a number of times how he would be up until 2:30am working. He also told me he had to fly across the country yesterday (and back the same night) to go to a client meeting, so I'm sure he's tired.
My girlfriend suggested that I wait until Sunday afternoon/evening and send him a message saying "Hey! Hope you're having a great weekend. I realized we didn't exchange numbers. If you want to hang out this week, but number is _____".
