It's very common etiquette to confirm a date or appointment the day before.

Her comment about reminding was rude. The more I think about it, the more it bothers me.

I wouldn't. A person who forgets about a date shows they weren't looking forward to it, in my opinion.

Then on top of it she tries to blame you? Mod cut.

I think she should have added it to her calendar with a reminder.

Monday dates are a little...different. I would give her one more chance, understanding that one of her flaws may be forgetfulness.

And, no text message the night before.

another chance...if she does it again drop her

I dated a girl who would blow it off every other date or so..always an excuse
we were intimate so I don't know what her deal was...probably had multiple dates and chose the one she wanted to do most

stopped calling her

She doesn't seem very interested in you at all, her responses seem very lukewarm. I wouldn't even bother with trying another date, just move on.

You know...one would think that with all this technology crap people use nowadays that the least one can do is put it mark the date on their calendar or something.I mean is it just me but the days of people getting excited about going out on a date..just not an exciting thing anymore? How can anyone forget anything these days when you're constantly connected at the hip with your phones?I'm sure they have it where you can mark certain occasions very easily.Just move on.

Maybe guys like midweek dates with me because they save their A list girls for the weekend or they are embarrassed to be seen with me (this is a joke...sort of).
I wouldn't feel bad about a Tuesday or Wednesday date as it comes across as less pressure, more casual - and it leaves Friday or Saturday for a second date if everything went well!

But Mondays just seem to be hectic and disorganized, more so than other days of the week - also, many restaurants are closed though that's not usually a first date choice these days.

I agree. I hear it from both males and females. I feel it myself. The relationship is nice, but the dating stinks. Mainly due to only getting to date the person one or two times before you stop seeing each other, which is the very definition of dating, but I think people continuously repeat dates 1 and 2 with different people. That part of the process can get old, which can take away from the actual fun of dating.
