I been reading up on this nofap thing and how people feel so much better and overall happier and more energy .. like I have read places like on "yourbrainonporn" and many others.. what do you think of these experiences and "studies" they do?

I went on a first date with someone who told me he was on the "nofap" sub on Reddit and had previously had a porn addiction. He explained that not masturbating made him much more motivated to seek out sex and opportunities for female company. It creeped me out & made me uncomfortable because he made it clear he wanted to get sexual (on the first date), and there was no way I was going to sleep with him. I felt there was a lingering expectation that I was his reward for not masturbating & watching porn.
He did strike me as someone who might be a bit "MGTOW" because of other comments he made.
I think there's nothing wrong with masturbation. But there's a lot wrong with porn. Some of the porn out there is very weird, some of it degrading. I'd not date someone who used porn.

Already had plenty of male partners my age who are not interested in it.
My American partners (when I was much younger) were the most enthusiastic users of porn, just an observation.
