Hello, I posted in here before about how a trusted tryst gave me Trichomonias. It was the worse experience of my life. I am now in the process of healing. During my process, I am practicing celibacy and I also joined a gym. At the gym, a guy asked for my number and we were texting all day until I told him that I once contracted a sti. He was surprised and then just stop texting. I feel so horrible and think that I shouldn't date anymore and focus on me. I understand it is cured but there is still a stigma. My friendtold me that he is not understanding and at least I was being honest. She also told me that I should have waited until the right time.

Tell or don't tell and you should be able to make this choice without the opinions of random strangers on a public forum.

What if you learn to be more picky chosing your partners?
Just because some guy takes interest in you doesn't mean you have to have one night stand with him. Try to learn how to be more selective with your guys, make own decisions who YOU want to meet and sleep with, AFTER knowing them more than few hours or days, and the possibility of contracting another STD will get much lower.
