Your man is taking you out to a nice venue how long does it take you to get ready? I have had gfs that take several hours. My current lady friend I'd say takes about 2 to 2 and a half. She can take awhile. Even when we get to where we're going and park she spends like 10 minutes checking and re-checking everything lol.
It depends on whether or not you count the time spent for a manicure, bikini wax, and/ or hair appointments. Not counting the grooming appointments, I'd say 1 hour if I am throwing my hair up in a quick updo but 1.5 hours if I am starting from "scratch" washing/drying/styling my very thick, long hair.
I also still iron most of my clothing. I might be the only person left on the planet who irons, I am not sure.
I think your lady friend is taking more time than is usual. Is it her hair mostly, or her make-up? I don't wear much make-up and I don't check and recheck it once I'm ready and out the door. I might reapply lipstick after dinner, but that's about it.

I wonder if she's anticipating sexytimes post-date so she's spending more time thoroughly waxing/plucking/shaving and moisturizing, etc.
It depends on where getting ready starts. If getting ready starts with a shower it takes me about an hour to get ready because I have to dry my hair and style it etc. It takes me that much time because my hair is long and takes a long time to dry (even with a hair dryer). I dry my hair in stages. Because if I don't take breaks when drying my hair, the heat from the hairdryer starts to make me sweat which is counterproductive.
But, if I don't have to take a shower because it's the evening and I've already taken one in the morning, it takes me about 15 minutes to get dressed do my make up rebrush my hair put on jewelry and be ready.
I'm a daily maintenance type.
Whether I'm going to work or a night out on a nice date I don't have to shave off the whole monkey suit, so it's still only takes me about 45 minutes tops.
Not very long. I had a spontaneous date Saturday and was ready in 10 minutes even though I was in bed already, when I got the invitation. And yes, he called me back afterwards, so I guess I looked presentable.
I don't use much makeup and the rest of my body is maintained regularly, so no special pre-date treatment necessary.
I honestly do not even know what people do in the bathroom for hours.
