No it isn't. It used to be that men worked and found a good woman who wanted to bear and raise kids and cook and clean and be in charge of home and family. It's called being a homemaker and enjoying life as a wife and mother and being in charge at home.
So now the woman wants to work and have men stay at home and guess what? Most men do not do well at wearing aprons and raising kids.
So you get what you asked for.
And then after the woman decides at 40 that she would rather stay at home the man that was wearing the apron has to go out and find a job as a retail clerk since other man have passed him by on his job skills.
Whereas the man that was able to work and had a woman who wanted to be a homemaker, that man now has risen up in his job and makes twice or triple times as much as the man who was temporarily the homemaker.
End of story.
