Some people become more attractive to you when you are drunk. Then you sleep with them and the next morning you wake up and hate yourself for having done what you have done.
So how does that work with your allllohoolll = truth serum theory?
I found that no matter how much alcohol i drink, my 6'5" bearded stalker is not going to turn into Salma Hayek...but still, I don't believe it is truth serum.
I think alcohol may expose some aspects of yourself that you manage to keep from public view when sober. I don't think the truth necessarily resides in those places.
Now that, I believe. I've seen it, I've done it, so I can say that for certain.

You always hear people say they didn't mean it when they said something drunk to somebody. But a lot of times drinking imo makes you say something you just didn't have the guts to say sober.
I'm not talking blackout drunk but a little buzzed or feeling good if you've told someone of the opposite sex you weren't in a relationship with how much you love them and we're flirty etc was it something you just said but didn't mean or were these feelings you always had but were afraid to express sober?
Hardly, I'd say it distorts things more than anything else. You may have a small crush on someone, but if you drink, that can be amplified and you could tell them you love them. Or if you're annoyed by something, when you drink it could cause you to go into a rage. There's a reason people often regret things they say and do when they're drunk and it's usually not because what they said/did was so refreshingly honest.
It's pretty simple, drinking clouds your judgement and you don't have the same decision making capabilities as you do when you're sober. The best rule of thumb is to take what someone drunk (or buzzed) says with a grain of salt. And if you're drunk, do your best to try and keep your mouth shut (and your hands to yourself).

Yes. No one ever does anything while they're drunk that they don't want to do sober, except throw up.
And that goes for words. Alcohol reduces inhibitions, and so people say things they wish they could say sober but their inhibitions warn them not to.
