In January we had to have our roof replaced. We got a consolidation loan and did some needed repairs and, low & behold, had about $3,500 left over. We shouldn't have, but we bought a spa. A beautiful blue one at that. We're not the types in our 900SF house that can afford one, really. But here it is:

So nearly every night in chilly ol' Portland, we slip into the spa and skinny dip. We sit together, we move around... Get our 50 year old bones nice & warm. We have speakers hooked up to satellite radio, candles... it's awesome. I mean, there's "nuthin' nicer".
So that made me think, what's "nuthin nicer" to you and yours together? (Remember, keep it PG-13).

Cool! Enjoy! It's the company that matters. Sometimes you have company, but don't have the amenities; sometimes you have the amenities, but the company is lacking (even though it may be officially in the household)... Most can't win them all and you have, so good for you!
We have had a spa in nearly every house we've lived in. They are great for simple relaxation or for being intimate. Unfortunately its been too dang warm here to get much use out of ours this year.

"Nuthin nicer" than a paid off home. Take the $3500 and pay it on your loan. Sorry

We have had a spa for years. We are about to move so we are going to try to give it away. Most everything has been replaced over the years and it still works fine.
At one time it was an erotic experience, especially when it was filled with six naked bodies. But for the last decade or so it has had a much more utilitarian purpose.
Soaking in hot water sometimes helps sore muscles and arthritic joints.
But, it's main function is providing a quick easy way to rinse off our stinky parts before going to bed. Much easier than taking a shower.
We, too, find it theraputic. I feel better and sleep better. I feel guilty about buying it (costs $20 extra per month in electricity), but it sure is nice!
I would but my answer is too x-rated.......or more like XXX rated actually
