I’m approaching my 40’s and still have a fear of commitment. I think it stems from feeling like the “black sheep” in my family growing up and being extremely shy around others and fear of stepping out of my “comfort zone” I’ve also been hurt by a group people who I thought were my friends

Six weeks ago I got married to a 67 year old man who had never been married. Not only that, he a cowboy and cowboys alway shy away from the double harness (marriage). Although it didn't hurt that we've known each other for 37 years.

I don't usually congratulate people on getting married and what not, but this really touched me. You two look lovely together. Congrats.
