How many more years before it is ILLEGAL to not have a Facebook?
Should we be weary of you? If so, why?
Its nice to think you could meet someone without a Facebook. I leave my house and see quite literally hundreds of people from the moment I step out of the door. Seems odd I would need a website to meet someone with such abundance of people all around me.
Ah, I didn't catch the wary vs weary! Good eye on that one.
No the issue is "trust". If the assumption is that 'everyone has Facebook', and you don't. . . you must be liar/cheater/married. I've had to engage in extended vetting processes to prove my character, when I denied having a Facebook.
This was a thing, like 5-10 years ago. Not so much anymore, because "only old people use Facebook". Normal people under 30, avoid Facebook and use other online websites and services, nowdays.

I'm old and normal, at the same time. How 'bout that lol.
I remember this one Elnina - we met face to face out in the street, at work or at school. We actually spoke to each other and looked each other in the eye.
I'm not sure what happened that made us incapable of doing that anymore...
It has to do with the thread title which the original poster posted...
