It's not outsourcing "date picking", it's weeding out the flakes and phonies. Time is valuable, we have paid "line standers", TSA Pre check, etc.....this is a natural extension.

The issue is though, one person may "flake" or be a "phony" due to the type of dialogue. So, if the discourse isn't real and sincere, the initial meeting is set up on a lie.

Mid 50's male here. All I can say is.....WTF. Is this a generational thing ? I certainly understand ghost writing as it pertains to story telling and autobiographies. But for texting and online dating ? I can't be the only one who feels this is just wrong on every level. If someone has to fake the their responses to others, what's the point ? You're not even being real. Like SRJTH said...."the truth will come out eventually"
My advice to those considering using others to speak err...text for them, is to learn how to talk to human beings face to face and above all, be yourself ! It's a setup for an epic fail to misrepresent oneself via text and then meet someone and not be the person who the other party thought you were.
