Default Okay. Yet ANOTHER conversation.

Last week, I started a thread about the couple that inadvertently revealed their swinging lifestyle to us.

Now, last night at a dinner party (not the same crowd), an acquaintance of ours gets sloshed, and starts talking about how, for the past 15 years of marriage, her husband's ex-girlfriend goes along with them on vacations.

Yes. You read right. The ex-girlfriend hasn't missed a vacation with this couple in 15 years.

So, my wife afterwards says, "Oh, that's weird. What do you think happens?"

I was pretty confident that all three were probably sharing a room, doing the humpalumpadingdong.

Now has anybody heard of THAT happening before? I am beginning to believe I am a pretty sheltered individual.

Come join me here in the shadows and we can be mushrooms together, because that's not something that would happen in my universe.

Two as well as you?

I just don't get how this works really. I mean two people in a relationship is complicated enough, three would be far too many for me to comprehend.
Besides, there are things I am more than happy to share, but my partner wouldn't be one of them.

Okay.. let me rephrase that.. cause it sounds kind of funny.. I may have had a conversation or two with someone who has had a threesome.. but they have never admitted it to me.. that makes me feel better LOL.

CPG, maybe she is one of those wives that don't like to put out anymore for the husband and she let's the ex-girlfriend do it for her.

I think I live a very sheltered life....if one of my friends told me they engaged in something like this, I'd distance myself, quickly...why? Because they have no respect for themselves and are ruled/obsessed with self gratification....

Interesting you bring this up because just recently at work I was talking to a single fellow at work, who is going on a cruise to the Riviera with his ex-wife (12+ years since divorce for them). Now I thought that was strange because to me a cruise is really romantic....and all i could think of is that they are getting back together or still intimate. However it did strike me as odd to have that level of still-involved with an ex of over 10 years (and he has had at least 2-3 girlfriends since that ex).
