Let me assure you, that in life. . . there are going to be plenty of crucial and solid messages that will sail your way that you may deem from a "lesser intelligence." The ones who I have known of the utmost intelligence - are not closed-minded and not only "hear," but they "listen." They do not only "see," but they "visualize."

If that is hard for you, as you say above. . practice makes perfect.

Just because you choose to slowly kill yourself doesn't mean it's either sound or humane advice to tell others they should sit silent and watch their spouse slowly kill themselves. Lends some credence to what Mearth is saying about tarnished judgment.

Not at all - I am a trained listener, in fact. But as any employer or writer will tell you, (just as examples): You could have the most important message in the world, but if you can't express it so that others understand it, it's useless. I am not the one who needs practice.
