A little bird once told me: "K is the most powerful letter".
The first time a woman cancels "because she doesn't feel well", I outwardly give her the benefit of doubt. I don't fully believe it, to be honest, given the clusterf dating has turned into, but a little courtesy goes a long way. Second time onwards, any cancellation gets only one response from me:

Same way but second cancellation I don’t even respond if we ain’t been dating that long. Figure since she is flaky away she shouldn’t be too upset if I don’t even bother to respond.

If you don't respond, she can rationalize away that "maybe he didn't see the message". If you respond with a simple "k" (or even "k." with a period, for a touch of "the gavel is down" vibe), it sends a message that you saw it, but don't care enough to even spell out "ok".
"K" (or "k.") can also be used for requests that you can accommodate, but would rather not. Like: "Can we reschedule for next week?" / "k." Especially considering that "reschedule" is becoming code for "Can I flake out, but still come off as a good person?"
In mid 2000's, there used to be another suggestion: Not responding to the cancellation message until after the scheduled date. It's less relevant today, it's pretty much expected that people are glued to their smartphones, and people have less qualms about no-showing.
