My belief if it's meant to be, it will be. I am starting to be open and honest about that with guys I go on dates with. That I am much slower than most, and it's not lack of interest, it's just I rather get to know you first for you in platonic way. If they reveal their feelings at some point I will reveal mine (whatever they may be).

Part of my problem too is I am very independent and love that independence too. So for me dating is also a big sacrifice. I want to make it's towards someone who is worthwhile (and vice for them too it's not all about me.

The only issue here is, that the guys may be afraid you'll put them in the friend zone if the roast goes on for too long.
