I saw this post from a friend on social media.

Every straight girl on this site has an apartment filled with stunning art, plants and vintage furniture but is in love with a man who sleeps on a bare mattress next to his PlayStation 4.

She even followed it up with it not even being a joke, but it's highly true, at least where she lives and boggles her mind.

Is there's a modicum of truth to this where you live?

Not sure really....? Most younger people don't have much money for "stunning art" at least the ones I know of anyways.

Not at all.

In the era I was dating men who slept on mattresses on the floor (college and a couple of years after) there was no way any of my peer group could afford stunning art and vintage furniture

This is just another half-baked sociological fantasy of yours.

Who thinks about stuff like this?

It's weird.

Actually, it's someone else's doing. They are the one's that posted it. I'm just the messenger. ;-)

You're always "just the messenger" for other people's tales/stories/creations. Why is that?

No, it doesn't make any sense at all. How old are these 'people'.
I've never seen stunning art. I have some art though...I have mostly vintage furniture. It's pretend vintage though. I don't like how old stuff smells.
