Which is it truth or humor? Or just gender bashing?
Truth in as humorous a manner as possible
Since men are the only ones with penises (Well, not always, these days) you can stretch it so as to look at it that way if you want to.
Of course not but you didn't take the post she made about it with the sense of humor that should have gone along with it (as well as the truthfulness of it)
I did think it was funny, and probably very accurate (for the segment of the population that thinks it's appropriate to exchange self-nudes with strangers on the internet).
But it's also strange and insulting to what I had assumed was likely the vast majority - those that wouldn't even consider sending out self-nudes. Am I off-base on that? Do most people actually do this now?
This has gone off track a little, but if one is too young to remember a world of women being sex objects, with men freely being able to objectify them by body parts...then I suppose it would be difficult to get the humor of a "turnaround".
Another one of those one-day turnarounds, now "it's just not fair" deals.

I would like to think not but then I'm kind of old fashion and the unbelievable amount of admitted sexting as well as amateur porn on the internet may well tell me I'm naïve and well behind the times

At some point in order for there to be equal treatment, there has to be equal treatment. Why not today?

You got it.
But do you mean equally good, or equally bad?
I feel fine talking about sex or body parts. I know that frightens some men so they interpret that as I must do awful things and be disgusting, (as you yourself have indicated)-- but if it's anyone's business I've had sex with only the same one guy this year, so I guess it can't be that I'm "promiscuous" so what really bothers you about the joke of men with little weiners don't send d pics? I don't know you, do what you want.
Realize he may not get more second bedroom dates, unless the woman is happy with 'other things' or wait until he finds someone that loves him enough to overlook or compensate the same as so may do for other such... "deficiencies/lacks" ...(Hate not being able to find the right word)
I think you know perfectly the right word, just know you can't use it.

I can't recall ever discussing size with a woman. Not ever!

As always, Ruth makes sense.

Seriously? As if there are no other reasons? It couldn't just be a matter of decency?
IMO, normal well-balanced decent people don't photograph their genitals and then pass around the pictures.
Two things that are NEVER going to happen are pictures being taken of my ...... and pictures of me having sex, not even for just her and I to share. If there isn't ever any pictures then they can never get on the Internet. I think it's insane that people would take these types of pictures.

I just hope that this will be remembered when the tables turn once again.

They will be, they are, its not tables turning, there HAS always been a deficit in who's sexually objectified by body, so I/we are used to that, it's no threat to imply we might be getting some of that.. where have you been?
It's amusing to watch men jump up and down and get all judgy when women do it. Is there an outcry of injustice every time someone mentions boobs? No, we're so used to it we laugh. Because it's dumb.
