A fun little hypothetical situation here. Lets say starting tomorrow, 100% of men worldwide decided they would never approach women again and the only way "dating" would take place is if women approached men.
What do you think would happen and how would dating dynamics change?
A normal woman with average looks would chat up a guy at the grocery store and said guy would post a thread on CD about how he was stalked at the grocery store by some "creepy woman".

Humanity would die out taking the flowers and restaurant industry with it. I’d find it highly entertaining.

There's a traditional, annual thing that happens and it's called "Sadie Hawkins Day"
I’d still be happily married - not every relationship is predicated on the man having approached, initially, you know.
As for everyone else going forward? I don’t imagine they’d change all that much. Honestly I don’t know a ton of situations that are purely man-initiates anyway. Usually it’s mutual flirting and interest, not just a guy sidling up and making the first go of it.
Well, women would be the ones directly making their own choices, instead of having to hold back for fear of appearing too aggressive. Men would have to sit there and wait and just hope and try to hint around a lot, and ultimately get approached directly by many, many women who turned them off, while the really cute girls walked on by. The guy could wait months of even years for an actually attractive, not an older, fat, leering woman to ask him out while his family and friends said, "But why don't you just give her a chance? She might be really great on the inside." And, "You aren't getting any younger. Are you waiting for some Disney princess to show up?"
We could try it. OR, we could do what things are turning into now: it is becoming much more mutual, and yes, women do ask men out, we just tend to be less aggressive and obvious about it. I never had any complaints.
The guys who don't have issues with approaching would keep doing so. Pretty much like now.
No they wouldn't. In this hypothetical situation, 100% of men would stop.
