Trying to. Frankly I’m overcommitted in terms of my time. My work schedule is long and eats up free time. I’m very engaged in civic activities and projects that take more time, and I’m nearly always the youngest person participating in such things. My location is not conducive to a dating market...people here marry and start families very young. What social activities there are revolve around families (and usually aren’t my cup of ice tea).

I get out of town when I can but distance becomes a factor. And you know my issue with online dating.

Moving will help a lot of these factors, I know. I still feel like I need to be pedal-to-the-metal to dig out of the hole I’ve dug for myself.

You're not going to get away with putting words in Ruth's mouth, JBT.
