Excellent! Each marriage not entered because someone balked is a probable divorce that didn't happen!

The general statistics do not account for this factor.
They only rally raw numbers from age brackets to be used in a comparative manner from the previous records.

Having other people around is a pain in the backside. Feeling a little bit lonely at times is a small price to pay for keeping absolute control over your own life and what you choose to do with it.

It's easy to avoid being the 35 year old guy in the club if you don't go to the club. God rest her soul, the only time my mother ever brought up the possibility of my being with someone was when she said 'you'll have to get yourself a girlfriend at some stage so you have someone to take to things.' I avoided that by deciding not to go to 'things' if I couldn't enjoy them by myself. So far, so good.

Never married or never in a relationship. I have two siblings who are in the never married but have several relationships until they are entering senior years. All older than 60 now.

The only problem is...I'm a loner. What am I to do when I go to the dentist and get a tooth pulled, or have a minor surgery, or have to drop my car off at the shop 10 miles away?

I have no one there to give me a ride, or help me. Or no moral support (outside of maybe church - though that is even tough to do as a loner).

I got married two months ago cause good women are rare to find nowadays.

I found one and married her.

If you find a good person these days hang on to them cause they're becoming rarer and rarer to find.

I never saw myself getting married and thought I'd be forever single, but turns out she was in my social circle the whole time.

Uber for the car repair and there are medical transportation companies that will, for a fee, drive you to and from medical appointments where you have to be sedated.

I wish they had those in my neck of the woods. Ambulances here are not wheelchair friendly and last time I went to hospital I had to take a cab.

And now I have I Wanna Be Sedated stuck in my head. Thanks for that.

Yay! More single mothers, fatherless homes, addicts, welfare abusers, stds, and complete societal breakdown. Gee, what fun.

Do any of you men feel like you missed your boat? I feel like I missed my opportunities with good women for good.
