The WHY question... the dreaded pics (guys, relations, never, physical)

it worked for me when I was much younger and really only cared about and wanted sexual relationships with others.
It not only served to weed people out who wanted nothing from it, it also put those who wanted the same thing in the forefront.
For every one person turned off their was another who was the opposite.
As for “evidence” I can’t really retroactively give you anything to prove my experiences. you’ll just have to take my word for what it is, or choose to not to.
Curious. Were said pics in a profile or did you send them, unsolicited, to people? I am asking specifically about sending them unsolicited. Thanks.
Clearly he thinks it will materialize into sex. I'd like to say I'm guessing in saying it must work for some, but I know for a fact that it does. A single friend of mine jokingly said he's like Wilt Chamberlin (although I know it wasn't 10,000, lol). But I know that he engaged with 20+ women having a profile with THAT pic as the main one on a site, and a regular profile picture for those who went beyond it. Unfortunately, it didn't work out as well for Anthony Wiener
Admittedly, I'm a little surprised anyone would be so shocked by it. My wife and her friends have all going to bachelor parties and had male strippers (oh the shock and awe). And I guess no woman would ever admit to having watched a porn before (c'mon).
I like to think I'm not easily shocked. Maybe I'm more sheltered than I realized...but I saw a male stripper ONCE at a Batchorlette party...and I WAS shocked. LOL
Here I was thinking it was going to a man in a costume, and he'd strip down to...something. I don't know. LOL But the man started out naked, except for yellow police tape wrapped around his penis. OK. My eyes had to get used to that...but then he started tossing the bride to be around like a rag doll, and then he was simulating sex with her...and yeah. I was shocked. lol
I'm old enough to remember when flashers were considered perverts. Society generally figured there was something wrong with them, something not quite right between the ears, for these men to go about exposing their privates to unwilling women.
All technology has done is made it easier for the flashers.
I'll stick with thinking these dudes are a bit off in the head, and avoid at all costs.
Note that doesn't apply to pics sent once the real life goods have been sampled. Then it can be fun and playful. But until then, if I get a picture, I ain't touching the real one and you're getting yourself blocked.

I have female friends and people I've dated tell me they've hooked up with guys who have sent UDP because they were impressed. I was kind of taken back at the first time I heard that, as she was a senior finance person at a huge Boston area hospital, very well educated, had her bleep together (we lost touch), but have had the same thing told to me by other women I know several times, including my partner. Most find it repulsive, and most say they ones they get aren't even good, but it definitely works for some dudes sometimes.

Those particular ones at that particular time, sure. Shouldn't be surprising. My partner's friend, M, uses one for his profile pic on a social media site and it generates plenty of attention from suitors. He's exceptional, though, and yeah, that's different then sending something unsolicited.
None of this is my style, but I'm also not someone that generally goes out with someone just to get laid. Some people do. Plenty of people do.
But that's just one reason (because it sometimes works). I'm sure different people have different reasons, most of them lousy.
Someone will find a way to turn this around and get defensive, but....the only ones I have received actually were kind of impressive, and men I've known who weren't all that impressive (not that it matters!) take great pride in letting everyone know they would never do something so disgusting to a woman.
It's hard for me not to say: "Well... would you re-think that morally superior stance if you had a bigger weiner, tho?"
