I do all the time, but I am a known a hole in my circle hahah, you can do what you want in life if you just own it.
You can do what you like in your life even if you don't! But I will bet a dollar that a guy lacking in confidence wouldn't be able to pull down that kind of attitude successfully.
Do you refer to human women as "chicks"? If so, they can sense it.
No. “Women.” Occasionally, “girls.” It’s been my inference that women of all ages like to think of and refer to themselves as “girls” but as a general rule dislike men calling them such in most circumstances, especially men who are not close to them. So, “women” is what I try to use and internalize.

Never “chicks.”
Don't care what women want to be called, I call half the ladies I see "babe" or "sweetie" and no one cares, and constantly call them chicks, girls, or ladies, whatever really. Nothing disparaging, but WGAS what you "Call" them.

I have NEVER heard a female say to me "don't call me that" when talking to them and I call them "babe" "sweetie" or "honey." If someone gets mad at words you really don't want to date them.

No, and I don't think they would say something or start something over it. Even in this very thread a woman said that if she thought a man was talking to her in a creepy or inappropriate way she would likely keep it to herself. Most women tend to be non-confrontational and agreeable by nature. Doesn't mean they want to be called things like that by men they're not seeing.

True, also means I don't have to care about it either.

Ha! I do actually.
My thinking is not really about what he or anyone else calls them. It is about vibe and, no offense, what you are looking for. I am imagining being on a dating app and someone calls me Babe or Sweetie. Or in RL, whatever. Don't even with chick. It's a non-starter. It represents a certain classless and tasteless mojo that I am not in for.
I am guessing wildly here, but buzz cut, kakhi dude probably is not looking for bubble head in the daisy dukes. If so, lacking confidence and sporting the babe, chick vibe, he is going to come off as a sop.

I would not tell you. That is moronic.
