I know some people think that you're supposed to love your partner no matter what size they are, I'm sorry but i don't agree. I would not be sexually attracted to my partner if he gained 50lbs and i know he wouldn't be attracted to me. He recently put on a few pounds and i told him he needs to start watching his diet and lose some weight before it becomes an issue (health/sex/appearance). How would you or have you told your partner that they need to lose a few pounds?
How about saying instead, "I think WE should take better care of ourselves. I'm going to start walking and trying to get in better shape. I really need you to help me. It's important to me."
