But that doesnt mean you should try to talk a young woman into having a serious relationship with you.

She's the jealous type, so I totally understand her. As a delicate soul that she is, I should've taken care of her instead of making such a terrible mistake and ultimately hurting her. And that is the thing, I really wanted to take care of her.

One other thing, her bday is coming up and I had bought tickets for a SD fireworks kayak tour. Should I just get a refund and never let her know?

Damn! That is what my daughter said she would do, that she would not associate herself with us in public. She also said that perhaps a woman my age would have more things in common with me and that we could find those common interests and have fun, she even gave examples like my taste in 80s/90s music lol.

Mod cut. I just suck at relationships, and I don't really have a great support system, never had. I'm pretty much a lone wolf and never had a fatherly figure who could at least teach me the basics about how a man should be. I also suffer from social anxiety to top it off.

Yuck. She is a person, not an object. This sounds pretty close to pedophilia.

How did you manage to have a relationship and two kids prior to now?

Let us teach you something then. It is absurd, at your age, to be chasing after an impressionable teenager who is only a handful of years older than your own daughter, who is disgusted by your behaviour.

Then work on yourself. Get some therapy. Stop trying to hook up with young women who are too immature to realize what you are trying to do to them.
