If I had a boyfriend..........

Bug me? No unless he was so involved with video games I couldn't pry him away.

As it is, I would probably drive him nuts because my way of playing video games is rather deadly serious. Remember Duke Nukem 3D? All those sexy women through out the game? I ignored them because to me, they were decoys to draw me into the kill zone. I see much more into things than just the sex.

i'd rethink how okay i felt about this issue, and re-consider the boyfriend if we couldn't discuss it.

Again, people talking about how innocent and harmless something is just because it is fantasy content, cartoon characters, porn or whatever it is, and how it's "ridiculous" for a woman to feel negatively toward it because of course it won't manifest in the real world and real life.

Uh huh.

But (again) I say no, that does not mean that a woman won't have justification to feel a certain way about it. Granted, what she chooses to DO about it is another story. But thinking along the lines that "all men" (I know, I know) actually fantasize about the sexualization of what look like very young girls, like in some of the hentai and video game images I saw in the first post? Look, I'm a 40 year old woman, and if I thought that any man who I slept with was *sigh* settling, reluctantly, wishing all the while he could in fact be with a 13 year old... I'm gonna get pretty squicked on the idea of...well...being with men at all. There have been times, I've needed a bit of convincing, because if I can't live up to a man's fantasies, I'd rather not be bothered. I'm not interested in being anybody's disappointing "good enough/better than nothing."

It does not help that I got more random cat-calls and sexual attention, from all kinds of men, when I was age 12-17 than I ever did after becoming an adult.

You can't dictate what others do in their life that they enjoy. If it's something that makes you uncomfortable...then you're not enjoying the relationship. This really bothers you.Get out of the relationship then because he's not going to stop because he sees nothing wrong with it.
You're wasting your advice. The OP is a 33 yr old MALE with Autism who has never been in a relationship and is probably trying to figure out why (because he has previously expressed wonder about why people seem to find him "creepy").

Yes I would think it’s a little gross even though it doesn’t bother or offend me. I guess I would be less attracted to him and feel like he only cares about appearance and so on.

The funny thing is, Sony has an "ethics dept" wherein they censor anything "sexual", like if a woman has big breasts they will scale them down, so by doing that, aren't they basically saying women with large breasts are unethical?

All of these bigger companies have what can be considered an “ethics counsel”. A rule set and evaluation process that determines what can and cant be allowed in their platforms. It’s also a part of individual developers localization process when bringing over content that may not be seen as appropriate in another region of the world.
Many factors go in to an evaluation. Current social climate, current law, shareholders influence, what the user base actually buys etc etc etc.

Sony choosing to censor some of these games in Europe and North America isn’t likely due to them seeing things as “personally objectionable” as a company, but likely a move to try to sell more product to a wider audience.

It’s not a new practice, people are just more aware of it taking place in the modern day due to the same products being available across multiple platforms. The ease of comparison has drawn a lot of eyes to how different companies are handling the same types of content.

I would personally draw the line at these type of games in this manner:
If you are replacing reality or using games as an escape from the real world, if your using fantasy to supplement reality. It’s a huge issue that can cause harm to your world and social view. This goes for any media type with video games being included, Extremes are never healthy.
This type of behavior wouldn’t be acceptable outside of gamings involvement, but fantasy on its own is not the component that is the issue. It’s the usage of fantasy and how it’s being utilized.
