I posted on here a few months ago because I thought like he might be depressed and I'm thinking about ending the relationship because I think his depression is making him take things out on me.

He's aways had a problem with regulating his emotions/anger but lately he's very snippy/disrespectful and he gets upset easily. Today he raised his voice at me in public because we disagreed on something trivial, and he made me embarrassed because people were around.

We didn't fight after but we weren't talking because I was upset, and when we got back to my place I went in the shower. When I got out, he was gone and left my apartment door unlocked. I live in a studio in a large city. I feel like he doesn't even care about my well being or the relationship anymore. I haven't heard from him since. I think I need to end the relationship but don't know how

Sounds like he just did.
If you want to end it, you're the only one that can do anything about it. Tell him to go.

Yes. This.

Hopefully he doesn't come back. Is there a reason you can't tell him to stay away? Are you afraid of him?

Change the locks now that he's gone. And don't call him anymore.

OP, I have a feeling his anger is probably just going to get worse with time.

Unless you receive an unsolicited and extremely sincere apology, I think it may be time to move on.

Did he also take your last tissue and leave the toilet seat up as well.

Your issues are far beyond an unlocked door.

Unfortunatly he's trying to gaslight me now.

He contacted me saying he's "tired of me thinking that I embarrass him in public..." He does.

Then he said that "I was about to get out of the shower when he left anyway" .. this is a lie.

Am I insane or is leaving in the middle of a minor disagreement and not picking up calls emotionally abusive?

He sent me this text this morning basically saying I'm the one that's wrong and has now blocked my number. He thinks he can just pick and choose when he wants to engage. How is this okay?

It's not. So stop engaging with him - permanently.
