I would have to know what was going on. That's the kind of person I am. Of course I would do as others have said, try speaking to her about it and try not to be confrontational about it.
How could he be, if she never dated him before? According to OP they never went on even one date together.
Unrequited probably (or maybe they both felt that way but circumstances didn't allow them to be together,) but I bet this man made her feel like no other.
I never got to be with the love of my life, she had a boyfriend for all of the time I did spend with her and she left college just after we realised and fell head over heels. Then I mistakenly broke her trust being young and stupid. No one has ever made me feel the same since.

.
True, but if she had really gotten to know him better, she might have found out things about him that she would not like.
Could be spiteful thing. Maybe he dumped her or did something bad to her back in HS and she wishes him ill will.
But, we (CDF) won't know anything until he asks her about why she unfriended him.
Hopefully the original poster updates us.
Mod cut.
I look up people quite often. I'm curious. It doesn't mean I'm in love with them. I don't contact them, either. I'm just curious. I think most people look up people online. I did an extensive online search for a man recently. It wasn't that I loved him. It was another reason that I don't want to go into.
