Just a question, i cheated on my ex, while we were dating, [we were both very young 17,18,19], i never cheated on her, while we were married though. She later on cheated on me, which consequently, led to our divorce, funny thing, is shes always blamed it on me. I got remarried, and found peace with the whole situation, i even called her and apologized for all the "alleged" stuff she claims i used to do to her.The Funny thing is, she has never showed any remorce for what she did, im just curious, have you guys ever cheated, had an affair, and were like, "ah screw it" he/she deserved it!" Sometimes i think she never got over me cheating on her multiple times, when we were dating, what do yall think?

Why did you marry her if you were cheating on her while you were dating? If you felt the need to cheat on her while you were only dating, why did you want to marry her?

I cheated one time when I was 18 with an ex only to discover the guy that I was currently with did consider us exclusive and I had just hurt him very badly. It was the one and only time I ever cheated and I'd never do it again.

As to being cheated on it's been a reoccuring theme in my relationships and frankly I am tired of it.

I've never been with someone long enough to cheat. Likewise with being cheated on. I could never cheat on someone though, because if you are in a relationship, to me that means exclusive. Why else be in a relationship? People that cheat or want to cheat should just stay single, then it's not cheating it's fun.:P

In college I was seeing so many different women that i couldnt remember which lie I told which woman! So i quit that mess. I have never cheated on my wife. I've had many opportunities because for 30 years I worked in a female dominated profession. But never met one worth losing my wife over!

I've never cheated. But knowing my friends, colleagues, and general social circle, I've decided that it's much more common that anybody would admit. What's more, I've found that the ones who proclaim most loudly that they'd never cheat are the ones most likely to do it.

Absolutely! Applies to just about anything. I'm always amazed by ads starting with "I'm honest"... For some reason, it never occurs to me to start describing myself in this manner...

What if, after a number of years of marriage, one partner ("A") wanted an active sex life while the other ("B") had very little interest in sex. A was always interested, B consented only occasionally. B hasn't ended sex entirely--he/she is OK with routine sex, say, once a month. But A wants it 3+ times/week, has expressed this desire to B, but B is indifferent to such desires. Sure, they could get counseling, blah, blah. But the bottom line is that they have developed mismatched sex drives over time. I suspect situations like this lead to a lot of cheating among established couples.

Both. I don't believe monogamy is natural for our species anyway....if it were...people wouldn't cheat.
