Maybe they're mute construction workers! Or since it's so friggin hot in AZ, they're just trying to conserve their energy.

While I usually ignore it, it is very flattering & I would miss it if/when it stops. But I am flirty by nature

Who knows... perhaps I started looking like a man-hater and intimidate them... Or plain getting old for this kind of action...

I think its completely annoying. But, I've had it so much in my life (either verbal or just staring, following) I don't consider it flattery. I consider it objectification. I'm not saying that to be full of myself.

If I'm with my daughter and/or husband its less common, but still happens. Most think she is my sister anyway. Now she's starting to get it too, she just 100% shuts it out...she's only 12!!! Its appalling. But she looks older.

The creepiest is when its a married man who is with his family and he won't take his eyes off you. Seriously, before I was married, when a man was too aggressive I never gave him the time of day. To me it screams of desparation, too crass and just all around unappealing. A confident, classy, intelligent man does not catcall or gawk IMO.

It is really bad in Turkey, Mexico, various islands, and someplaces in Europe. OK, I guess men are just like this everywhere! However, I have found in some countries they are more respectful or forward than in others.

Here's a bit of movie trivia for you...

In one of the Star Trek movies, Capt. Kirk was said to be famous for being the only Starfleet Academy cadet to beat a "no-win" scenario.

He beat it by reprogramming the computer so that it was possible to win...

Yes, everybody is equal - some more so than others.

I know people with higher rep points give more points when repping somebody, but wouldn't think their votes can possibly weigh more. C'mon, you're getting more paranoid than me, Sifu! Of course, there's no doubt anything can be manipulated in a database.

Oh I forgot to mention - whenever I receive catcalls I take it as a compliment - doesnt matter who it comes from (young, old, attractive, ugly, female, non-female, etc.). Beggars like me cant be choosy.

I was shooting hoops in my driveway just a couple days ago and a lady drove by blew her horn and said "wooooooooooooo" out her window to me. Didnt see what she looked like but hey, it brought a smile to my face.
