Shuke, it's nice to meet you. Please excuse me for my post because I'm new to this thread (I normally just post in the Texas threads). But reading your situation really touched me.
I was in a marriage that was deteriorating. Things were great for the first 2-3 years. Then, she got herself so wrapped up in her work, it seemed there was little time for the family. When I was active duty (Navy), often I would get up early for work, come home, check the kids homework, clean where I could, cook dinner, etc. It was a great life for her, all she had to do was come home, eat, and relax after her work day.
I kept a lot of this inside me for a long time (about 6-7 years after it started). But as I was getting close to retiring from the Navy (I'm only 43 now), I decided that maybe I needed help. The house was getting more and more messy, and my frustration from feeling like I was carrying a large load was more than I could take.
We decided to split up, and we let the kids decide where they were going to go. My oldest (adopted) was going to college, so that was already set. But both my son (14 at the time) and daughter (12 at the time) both decided they were going to go with her. After one year my son moved back with me and after two years (one year go) my daughter moved back. They are both with me still and have no intention of moving back.
Guess I'm just trying to tell you that the kids often see the situation although they don't really understand it, and make the right choices.
Hold on tight (to hope), and trust that whatever happens just from what I've read from you in these forums, I know you will do whatever you can and that's all we can expect from anyone! Good luck!

Shuke, if you can get ahold of someone that reads tarot cards, get a reading. They're usually pretty accurate and may tell you something else you don't know yet. It's better to get it done in person though when you shuffle or hold the cards yourself before they're laid out.

Personally, if it were me, and if I believed that a paid psychic could be accurate anyway, I'd have to wonder whether she was picking up on my own vibes about how I felt/what I believed rather than picking up on the reality of a third party's situation.

Thanks.... how do I go about finding the real deal when it comes to this? I know with astrologers, I want someone who's a member of the AFA - preferably a professional member or better. There is exactly one such person in the entire state of Massachusetts. And I found my psychic because she does work for the police departments in solving cold cases and has success with that. But how about tarot cards?

That's pretty much what my shrink said he thought would probably happen... and he's met my wife for one 60-minute joint session with him. My wife didn't like him and refused to go to any more with him, but the point is he has met her.
Thanks for the good wishes!

They are normally in the metaphysical stores or bookshops in the area.
If you live in Mass., are you near Salem? I'm pretty sure there's tons of them there.

Shuke.... When my husband and I were in the throws of separating, it started getting messy when the kids came into play.
First they were coming with me, then he tells me I can't have them , but I can take the cats.
Then he says, you take the daughter, I'll keep the son.
He said that infront of the kids. I imagine that made my daughter feel very unwanted by him. Still does.
Ultimately, both kids are with me. Of course, when I challenge him on something, or if he thinks he may have to do more than he is doing currently, his answer to me is always, why don't you just hand the kids over to me and pay me child support?
I don't know... tread lightly when it comes to the kids, don't talk at your wife, like she is a child infront of them.
Sure, she may have the mindset or behavior of one, but still, she is a parent.
My husband always used to talk down to me, like he owned me or something, still does.
I used to think the kids were losing respect for me over it, but they weren't... they lost respect for him.
Still, though.. they do everything they can to try and please him... if I am only good enough, he will love me more... I know this is what they think, because it is what I used to think.
I wish you all the best Shukie.
