Shuke,
I commend you for being a "trooper" in dealing with your wife's mental illness. Good luck with whatever decision you make.
push
PS Don't feel too bad if you actually go through with the divorce....be warned you just might see your wife in another life

In a moment of desperation and temporary insanity I went to a psychic, too. Sure enough, the worst card ever came up - the Burning Tower... Not that it wasn’t appropriate…

That's not always a bad card, depending on what showed up with it. Most of the time, the tower represents a change; possibly an ending of something.

The more I read these threads on divorce, the more I become convinced that the only way that makes any sense is to hire a professional.
A Mafia hit man.

Yes, that's my understanding of it, too. You can't build a grand palace unless you tear down the shack that's currently on the site.
That said, I too once went to a psychic. I looked younger than my age and wasn't wearing my wedding ring because my period was coming up and I couldn't have fit that ring around so much as my pinkie. I went because my ex begged me too. He was heavily into psychic readings and we were going through a custody battle for his son from his previous marriage.
I got there and woke the woman up. She stumbled down the stairs saying it was all right, she was tired but when God calls one with a Gift, one would be irresponsible not to use it, so she was happy to accommodate me. (Well, thank you! Did the $110 dollars make up for it in any way, ma'am?) She proceeded to sit me down and tell me not to worry, I'd be married within four years and have one little girl. (I have three boys and am sterilized and at the time had been married for two years.)
I left $110 dollars poorer but at least my ex was wiser. Or I hope. For all I know he's still consulting these people.
In my experience, a person who has a real calling--and I've only met one--doesn't do it on a schedule for strangers, accurately; there's a lot of emotion that tends to need to be involved. These people look you over and tell you what they think you want to hear.

IMO, charging you 110 dollars should have been a red flag. Most tarot readers do charge but mostly small amounts and some do it for free but maybe leave a donation of money or something you've made for trade.
I feel very strongly about the Tarot and the people I've known that have given me readings and taught me some do not charge a large amount of money.
Shuke, I think it would do you a world of good to consult one.

Many years ago I met up with one who knew nothing about me, but everything she told me that not only happened (I made no mention of even seeing her to no one) but she even knew things about my past and present that only I knew of.
Back then, she only charged me 30 bucks and spent an hour reading these 'stones'. Wierd.
