I read an article yesturday about a couple that just got married-he was 35 and she 21. What's your age difference and what would be you limits on how old and how young would go as it realtes to dating/marring someone of a different age.

Please list you age....
I was an old 15 (already had my own apartment & was holding down two jobs). She was 40. We loved each other together and apart for the next 40 years. Although I am fortunate to have had other wonderful partners, that woman made my life richer regardless of the age difference.

When I was ...25 or 26?...I went HOME with a woman who was at least 50? I've kinda blocked it from my memory since...but it was only the one time. Didn't look 50 in the dark...

If I had to state a PREFERENCE, where I know beforehand? I don't want to go over 10 years in EITHER direction. I'm 38 now, but that's been a policy since...that one night. And ten years IS stretching it, because anything more than five years, and we're not likely to have that much in common.

Im 31, but when I was 17, I dated a guy who was 26. He was well educated, had a great job, very respectful and came from a great background. The funny thing is, my parents loved him but I just wasn't attracted to him at all.. we had everything in common though. I often think about looking him up since I was immature and treated him very badly in the end, he didn't deserve it

I briefly dated someone 15 years my junior, LOL and I'm a woman. The sex was outstanding but as soon as he talked we had nothing in common - go figure! It was purely a physical thing anyway. Now, I'm engaged to a man 7 years my junior. Sex is fantastic - although I have taught him a few things to my liking and the stamina is there, so it's all good AND we get along famously anyway. I've usually dated anywhere in this range though, they are usually 5-7 yrs older or younger. I don't think I've ever dated anyone my own age.

Husband is 5 years older. "Seriously" dated someone 12 yrs older than me years ago, he definitely had insecurities about our age difference, he was paranoid I'd leave him for younger, and eventually it was a turn off.

Never dated anyone younger, or had any desire to. My rule of thumb before marriage was anyone who was old enough to be my parent, was too old for me to date. So I guess the cut off line would be 15 years or so. But in the long run, its all about maturity and compatibility, not numbers.

When I was 13, I went out with a friend of my grandmother. I took her to lunch and then to a movie. She was about 70 years old.

Although it was part of a Boy Scout merit badge project, it was still a date the same as I would have gone on with a girl my own age, and we had a good time.

I never got the merit badge.

Do I win the CD "Biggest Age Difference Award"?

I was 25 when I married my wife who was 32...about 7.5years difference.

38 and widowed now....when I start dating again I would be somewhat flexible and the situation would probably dictate itself. (ie. I don't want more kids so if it was a 32 yo. that wanted kids then obvious deal breaker) Realistically...probably would look 30-45 with a number of contributing factors.
