I am 47, I went on a dinner date with a guy who is 71. I couldnt bring myself to think it could become a relationship because the lifestyle differences (I couldnt picture him disco dancing, lol) He is my friend, but I can go no further with that one. I also have been approached by a few guys who are 26, which is my son's age, and it just doesnt set well with me to go there either. I heard one of my son's friends comment to him that he thought I was "hot", Nick responded, "Oh my GOD dude, thats my MOM! lol, I was flattered, but creeped out just the same. I NEED a guy in my age group, 10 years different is still pushing it!

I read an article yesturday about a couple that just got married-he was 35 and she 21. What's your age difference and what would be you limits on how old and how young would go as it realtes to dating/marring someone of a different age.

Please list you age....
i'm 45- she 24. Although I might look younger than I am...I could not keep up with her AT ALL! I in no way sensed this would be a long term relationship, that she would remain faithful, and we even entered into it with her complaining about guys expecting those things and more. And then 4 weeks later...SHE ASKED ME TO MARRY HER! ROFLMAO

I've been on both ends of the spectrum. When I was active duty Navy, I was 19 and my boss was 28/29. Two problems, she was my boss, and she was married.

I also was divorced from my wife of 14 years, and I was 37, and met a 27 year old. I would attribute this to a middle-age crisis, but I think it was more of the fact that after that long with someone, it felt good to still be looked at by anyone (I will NEVER turn heads, I'm sure), and she was the first to look.

The man I'm seeing is 23, I'm 46. I find him extremely sexy, romantic and smart. And yes, he can hold his own in conversation..I've always been young at heart and can pass for 32...I still get carded in bars...so the "young looking" thing works for me. I'm very happy with the way things are.

My xhusband was three years older than me and my xboyfriend was five years younger than me.

The current one is not even the "type" I go for...go figure, and I think that's better because sometimes going for the same types means repeating the same mistakes...I up for new things!

I was 44, he was 25. Absolutely amazing - he and I were very in sync, liked the same things, talked to each other for hours and never got bored, had lots of fun. What broke it? He was a young man, and needed to have a family. I was past the age to give him one.

We wished each other the very best, and are friends to this day.

I think I was 24 and went out with a 70 year old gay man. It was hilarious but also very weird...we went out as friends..

I was 18 (or might have just turned 19) and she was 28.... married... and my boss.... Not a proud moment in my life... but it happens. Also, when I was 37, I dated a 27 year old. I must admit, though... that one was too much. It didn't take long to figure out we had almost nothing in common.

I'm 48. The youngest person I've dated so far was only a few year my junior, like 3 or 4 years younger. However, I now have a "prospect" that is 28. Wish me luck.
