We do have cute names for each other, but i can't bring myself to share. Honestly it's just too embarrassing!! Lol!

Oh Hoosier I see that I have failed you as a sister if you don't know how important endearing names are Yes they are important, to me, it's kind of another way of saying I love you. My husband calls me sweetie most of the time, I call him sweetheart. Maybe if it doesn't come natural you can practice on your dog when you get it

It gets tricky. If you use those at all times, then when you address them by their names they KNOW they're in trouble!

The name given to me by my wasband many years ago was "Pretty."

He called that for many many years. Every once in a while, he still slips up and says it to me. He never called me by my first name, ever.

The man I am going out with now calls me sweetheart, or sweetie.

I call hubby "Babe" & "Sweetie"

He calls me "Babe" or "Schmobly". Don't ask me how he came up with that one!

Btw, be aware of people who never call you by your name! It's not a good sign.
