I'm in a situation where I have been dating a great man who has 5 children (4 different women) AND who is currently going through a divorce. We have been dating for 3 months now and I have met 2 (out of 5) children. They are well-behaved kids and he's definitely showing outstanding parental skills. I, on the other hand, have never been married and have no children nor any parental skills what-so-ever.

I want children so bad and despite that he has 5, he would like more with me, which I absolutely go for...but not sure what his other baby mama's would think or if it's in MY best interest to go for. I'm 22 years old and he's 28. I can see myself with him..no doubt about it.

Just wanted to know other opinions of people who have been in my shoes...not with one or two children but at least more than 3. I want to bring up child support talks or how much interactiong he has with his ex's and what possibly guarantees me and him to be together.

Any advice will be helpful.
Yes I absolutely think it can work. Sounds like he has his sht together.

Hey, instead of working, why don't you guys flip houses or join a couple of Multi Level Marketing companies? Maybe sell ginsu knives?

As much as I would love to run a household brimming with children and life and a man I loved, I wouldn't recommend this situation with this man.

It could be that his appealing personality pretty much leaves the room once he's married to you.

So many children with so many women? The man has some issues that may be buried.

Run.

This guy has 5 children from 4 different women! He is only 28 years old! He has enough baggage to fill an airport. How many of them was he married to? His track record is terrible. I know you love him. But, he has nothing to offer you at this point. He is going to take more than he can give in return. all of his $ will go to his children for child support. 5X each is about $3,000. What will be left for you and your child, if you decide to marry this man and start a family of your own. What makes you think you are the last one woman he will ever look at? Believe me, there is life after you. He is not even 30 years old and you will not be his last woman. Find a man you have more in common with. You are only 22 years old. Most young men your age are single, never married and childfree. If you are smart, you will take another look around you and consider one of them instead. This man you are seeing is an instant family. Just add H20. Do you want that for yourself? I hope not. You can do better than that. Good Luck!

Default Would you date a man with 5 children?

Would you stick pins in your eyes?

just started dating this guy, second date he admits to having 3 children by 2 moms, upon my own investigation it's actually 5 with 4 mothers. Is this a disorder?

Why not start a new thread instead of piggybacking on one that is more than 3 years old?

Well just keep in mind he's looking to be the proud sire of a 4th child with a 3rd woman.

Usually these men don't provide much financial support, it's macho to keep as many women knocked up as possible but let the taxpayers support them.

Ridiculous, crazy, selfish and other non PG words come to mind. I will never be able to undertand why some guys do that. Thankfully I don't know any.
