Because, unless you count the Nazis, few political viewpoints are wholly right or wholly wrong. In fact, I would argue that to cling to a label for yourself tells the world that you've actually abdicated the right to think for yourself. And if you believe that conservatives or liberals are totally wrong while you are totally right, then I would say that you suffer from a serious case of moral vanity.
I guess I should clarify mine... I mean the 'Tea Party' Neo conservative types. The ones who want to ban abortion and birth control, ban sex toys, force business to close on Sundays and ban gay marriage, get rid of ALL social programs etc etc. I just can't relate to those types of people.

I feel the same way about the far left liberals as well. Somewhere in the middle is just fine with me

1) Anti-intellectual. I don't expect an MIT graduate but at least be curious about the world around you. There's so much to learn and know!

2) Unenthusiastic about life. Again, she doesn't need to be an overachiever who wants to be President but have some sort of ambition. A passion.

3) Judgmental. We all have prejudices and judge to some degree, but I'm talking about those who throw stones in glass houses.

4) Far left or far right politically. I'm quite tolerant of most political views seeing as how I'm middle-of-the-road and libertarian, but I can't stand the religious rightwing nutjobs nor can I stand people who basically want to turn the US into a socialist country.

5) Hard drugs and heavy alcohol use. I'm fine with wanting to get drunk now and then (I am in college), after college it's a little unbecoming IMO, but whatever. Weed is more than fine, I'd love a girlfrient (+1 to those who know what I'm talking about). But anything harder than weed is a no-go.

6) Has kids. At this point in life I'm just not ready to be any sort of father figure.

7) Rude / lack of manners. Does it really kill you to say please and thank you? I really can't stand people who are rude to waiters, cashiers, etc. Chew with your god damn mouth closed, unless you were raised by wolves. And put the phone away when you're at lunch or dinner with someone. Damn!

It was a bit hard to come up with seven dealbreakers since a lot of stuff seems like it'd be a dealbreaker for any sane person.

As a man seeking a woman, 7 of my higher-ranking dealbreakers:

1. Has kids and/or wants kids
2. Too caught up in teenager-ish pop culture; Jersey Shore, American Idol, Carly Rae Jepsen, crap like that.
3. Doesn't have a white collar or skilled blue-collar job on a career track making roughly half or more of what I do (this rules out the cashiers, day care staffers, waitresses, starving artists, warehouse workers, etc.) Also has any amount of credit card debt, history of bankruptcy, bad credit, etc.
4. Doesn't tolerate at least some amount of alcohol consumption in a man above zero.
5. Doesn't have hobbies/interests/activities that she can do by herself or with people other than me.
6. Any current drug use or history of drug use.
7. Plans on voting for Obama in 2012. This seems to rule out most single women who pass #1, though.

Edit: 7A. Frequent church-goers who insist that I attend as well.

I'm assuming you're talking about abs and not Old Rasputin?

I could take em or leave em, it really doesn't matter.
