Yeah of course I look at porn while at work, but my employer is really cool so I'm sure he wouldn't care. In fact I asked him, and he said it's fine. But then again I'm self-employed and cannot fire myself, and I work from home, so it's acceptable.

Its not against the law that I know of here, but it could get you fired at some companies, esp if they monitor everyone remotely. They wouldn't need to catch you, they'd just see it and know ya did it.

Before year 2000 it was pretty easy to get away with playing on the net on a slow day (not just porn), but nowadays its too easy to get caught.

Personally I think if your work is caught up and getting done in a professional manner and your not neglecting anything (ie you have time to kill) then they shouldn't care too much. Why is killing time on the net any difft than killing time socializing with coworkers or anything else non-computer related?

We have a firewall so I doubt I could, not that I would ever try. That's absolute grounds for termination. I get away with this site because I have to do census, logistics, and statistics for areas on the US map so I need to be on here at times for work ...

Not sure if its worth the try. Better off watching at home, if felt like it.

Depending on the company, many network admins block most of the porn sites.

Smaller companies you might able to pull some up.

I wouldn't in a million yrs look at porn at work. I'm not a big porn guy anyway. My last company I worked for there happened to be a guy working as the receptionist, and would greet customers when they came in. Anyway this dude happened to be gay and was caught checking out gay porn sites. I'm like WTF?? His computer was viewable to people when they walked up to counter.

Default That would embarrass

me at work and probably is a no-go at work as well. I get a bit worried about my job finding about my legit activities such as city-data so I would never even think about surfing XX at work
