looks like LAFan and building and bridges have somethings in common....hehe....anyways, I also think it depends on who you are with. It is known that a married man just added 10 years to his life just for getting married. I'm sure he has to be happy to a degree though. Some people can't be single while others enjoy it.

So by getting divorced, did I LOSE 10 years?
What about this guy? Married 53 times??? He should have died at 530, not 74.
I was listening to this video on YouTube and this dude said men enjoying being single compared to women.
Are men really happy with their lives if they stay single? Can women be happy with their lives if they're single?
Since I'm staying childfree and most women do want children, then I have to get used to staying single, probably forever, and maybe leave the world a virgin (I don't believe in fornication).
OK...if you don't believe in 'fornication' or having kids.....you are useless to any woman unless you have an unlimited bank acct.
But for most OTHER men I'd say that we could be happy not ever being married as long as we got laid once in a while.
Men live longer if they are married? The most preposterous thing I've heard all week, and I've been browsing the immigration forums
Most men prefer being single, no matter what their age. It all boils down to two basic wants and needs: personal freedom and greater financial freedom.
Seriously, the number of single men young and old is bigger than people would have you think.

I have about used up my extra ten years.
If I became a polygamist and got another wife could I get another ten years?
