It did make me think though because it had been a long time since I have seen someone attempt to pick someone up in a public place. In an era of video dating, speed dating, singles parties and Internet personals, it seems like the old fashioned pick up attempt is dead. Ame I wrong?

Has someone attempted to puck you up and do you think it is more common in certain ethnic groups like african americans?
he should have disarmed her by making a "common courtesy" approach (Hey the weather sho is nice 2day)

by letting a woman know your attracted to her, right off the bat u give her leverage.

women like mysterious men who make vague and open-ended comments, women want to earn YOUR approval. when u try to earn the approval of a woman, you look like a low status beta male (and you most likely are).

The mall used to be the perfect pick up place when I was a teenager. I will say this that my experiences meeting someone at random is better than any club, bar, or happy hour spot. I met my first, everything, in traffic one day. He honked at me claiming that I almost hit him on a two lane, left turn. I rolled down my window and told him sorry and rolled it back up quickly. A few street later he asked me to pull over and he got out of his car and we talked for a minute and he got my number. The rest was history. Good guy, great person, and a Florida boy.

Random places like grocery stores, gas stations, are untapped markets. Now I'm not talking about it being a hunting ground however random opportunities to meet someone during the daytime in a relaxed environment is nice.
