Well you have two pretty daughters, you should be proud! 17 and 16 isn't so young, they are very close to adults and look cute. Not in a creepy way, I'm just saying you obviously have done something right

Johnathan..Thank you. I have to say I am very proud of them..they are such good girls. I didn't take it as you were being creepy so no worries there. I'm gonna hate it when they become adults and move out..i'll be a sad mama that day..lol

Yeah, that happens to every parent, I mean I know my mom was all teary when I was going to college only 70 miles away, and I'm like, "Mom, I'll be back NEXT WEEKEND! It's not a big deal!" haha. I came home every weekend, and I'm really glad that I did in retrospect since my mom wasn't around that much longer.

I'm sorry to hear about your mom. My girls dad passed away 2 years ago this feb. and I know how hard it can be.
My oldest he is 20 and he moved out as soon as he turned 18, it was hard but I didn't have some of the worries with him that I will with the girls..course he's 6.5 180 lbs..so I didn't have to worry about anyone kidnapping him or anything lol..

Prefer older. Preferably, my partner would be no more than 5 years in either direction. This one is 3 years (comparing birthyears only).

my husband was 16 years older than me. I recently had my first date in 2 years + and the guy was 13 yrs. younger. In both cases, age was not a factor pro or con. IMO, it's just a simple matter of who you hit it off with...and who you don't.

(but waaaaay deep down, it was kinda cool to think a guy that much younger wanted to go out with me.... )
