Some people just cannot drink. I cannot drink hard liquor. Everytime I do, I turn mean as well. Now, I`m ok if I drink my wine, or beer, but no hard alcohol, like JB, or tequilla, rum, vodka, etc.

Its amazing how differently it effects people, I get REALLY friendly and my clothes tend to fall off. This is why I rarely drink AND never around people I don't know well.

Right. Some peoples bodies have an almost allergic reaction to alcohol - they just can't tolerate it. If she were able to make him understand this he could perhaps better understand the supreme importance of never drinking ANYTHING alcoholic ever again.

Thanks everyone. We have two children, so as much as I would love to walk out of the house let him cool down, it isn't a possibility right now. I just told him I need my space and asked him to sleep in the guest room...

There is plenty of time tomorrow or later for the conversation you guys need to have - don't let him bait you into it while he's been drinking like some drunks will do!

Thanks lovesMountains. I am actually really calm. I just feel like my heart is broken. I went through one horrible relationship years ago and swore I would never let anyone treat me like this ever again.

Feeling sad is so normal in this situation And I feel sad for you.
It is good that you have your standards too! Refuse to be a doormat, that is very important.

Plus he's letting you down, hurting your feelings and your marriage by his behavior - that's all huge stuff to take.

I wish that I was like that.
My husband likes his whiskey every now and again. He will always say,"why not take a few shots of what I`m having?" Riiigghhht.
If he wants to see me turn my head around backwards.
Right after we were married, we were drinking tequilla here at the house.
All I remember is laughing one minite, and next thing I knew, I was in the kitchen, ballin` my eyes out, accusing him of stupid crap.
Not for me, and I would recommend your husband realize this too.

Me personally, I have this weird extremely high tolerance to ANY stimulant or drug. Seriously, it's a problem when I have surgery and stuff. Like for pain control after a procedure if the regular person would get a percocet I get two dilaudid, LOL. So, when it comes to alcohol it just does me no good to drink it AT all. If I do drink it I'd have to drink so much to get any kind of buzz that my liver and gallbladder start complaining and give me horrible heartburn!!! So, I just don't even bother, LOL!
