Men and women are wired differently, to be sure. But to say it was physical vs. emotional, you remind me of a study I recently heard of (or was it just a poll? Whatever!) Anyways, for men to get turned on all they really have to do is look at a woman. They are very visual. Women, on the other hand, don't really get turned on just by looking, but by sensual touching. So to me, men are visual, and women are physical.

I always heated working with a group of women because tehy are so competive with each other. They gossip about each other so much and run each other down that I got tried of hearing it. Man seem to have decides long ago that you have to learn to give and take to get along. Sometimes I think it is because men have been doing it so long it is bred in the male at birth.

I'm a married woman. I have, on _many_ occasions, wanted to wander/cheat/hubba hubba/whatever. Even though I have a great marriage. It's just a physical, sexual response. And I get that men feel that way, too.
You just act like a grown-up and don't do it. I haven't.
This whole cheating/non-cheating thing based on wiring is irrelevant, b/c saying someone is bad for straying is a social construct, anyway. Some time in the past, we all got together and decided as a society to say, "To heck with our our natural feelings; monogamy is better for society."
As to the wiring...well, we're wired to eat ourselves into obesity. Responsible people just don't do it.

That would make us totally different from the animals, which personally I don't believe...

Here is my take on all of this. Men and women are wired differently. Males and females are also socialized differently. These two things contribute to women and men thinking, behaving, and interpreting things in different manners. I think that if people (man or woman) are in a relationship that is healthy and satisfying (emotionally, sexually, intellectually, etc) then they probably won't cheat. However, what is satisfying to a man may not be satisfying to a woman and vice versa. That's where communication and understanding come in.
I have known just as many women that cheat as I have men. The women have cheated because they are not satisfied in some way and the men cheat because they are not satisfied in some way. Yes, the lack of satisfaction may be in different areas but what difference does that make? One is no more excusable than the other.
BTW I also believe that homosexuals are born that way.

Sweet! I don't believe we are different from animals, either, and my dog would eat herself to death if she had the chance.
Animals in the wild aren't fat because they rarely have the chance to be.

Ha ha! So true. I don't know though, I see your point but for me and I'm a feline female I would have to say that if I have a good emotional connection with a male and he doesn't have a big enough ahem "part" well there's going to be a problem, plain and simple. I'm not talking huge, but if I'm providing the birthing hips, he needs to have the fertilizing capacity. So I'd like to have some pictures of some gents lined up unclothed so that I can dismiss a few right off the bat. I mean I don't want to get some sort of connection with them and end up hurting them in the long run because I find out that they can't give me what I need. Oh yeah, they aren't wired for any emotional connection, so this would actually work out pretty well for me. I guess I'm just in touch with my male side or something.
Single men...Line up! I'm looking primarily between the ages of 28 and as old as 42 (but only if you look 28) Good Luck and no hard feelings K?

Dar!
The difference between men and women is that men have a "hangy-downy thing" between their legs and women have a "sticky-uppy thing" between theirs. Question answered.

Isn't it ironic...
...that the men responded emotionally (defensive and angry) against the women who had replied with logic and humour!

Well, there ARE always a few...um...lower-functioning animals in every group...

I'm not so sure. Sometimes a habitat will afford tons of yummies, but the animals rarely gorge themselves to the point of sickness. Sure, there's always the monkey that eats all that over-ripe fruit and gets drunk, but hey - monkeys are close to humans, right?
