Me, and my then GF, moved to Minneapolis. Three months after we arrived, she gave me the boot, then three days later told me that she found someone new. It took me less then a week to get out, and in the end everything worked out.

I'd stop paying the rent. That'd show her.

So did this happen to you and now you can't tell us more because you don't have internet in your car - or are you just pulling our chains?

If they left me for someone else I would contact a lawyer and take them to court for alienation of affection so I can get the place back.

I don't think they have legal rights if your name is on bills, rent, etc. Get a lawyer

First, the chance of this happening is slim to none. 30 years and 6 kids with this guy, if he keeps the house he keeps the kids. And since they're teenagers, I'm pretty sure he'd rather live in his truck than have to deal with the teenagers.

But I'll play along. Yes, I'd run home to mother, right after I stopped by to see my cousin who is an attorney. I certainly wouldn't find a new place to live because I'm confident I'd be back in MY home before long.
